Laura's Christening

Laura in her Christening gown. This is the same dress that I was Christened in, as were my sisters and my Dad and my Grandma.

The Baptism.

The Godparents.

4 Generations

And of course, the cake. (Chocolate Mud Cake BTW)
Yummy!!!
It was a beautiful day, filled with family and friends and of course, good food.
Shouldn't every day be like that?? :-)

Baby Pidgeons

Mother bird nesting.

Nest & Baby Birds

Baby Birds

Hello All

Just had to post the pics of the pidgeon nesting in our backyard. It's been very exciting to watch over the past couple of weeks. I keep asking Sarah if she would like to take the photos in for show and tell at kindy but she keeps declining. I think I'm more excited than she is....LOL.

Sarah's Train Excursion

Sarah's kindy went on a train excursion here in town. The man who owns it has been building it for 45 years. He has done a very good job and Sarah and I both loved it!!

More Photos of the Girls

Cubby House Installation

Hooray!! The cubby is in. A big Thanks to Mum & Dad for bringing it to us and a big Thanks to Rose & Craig for letting us have it and a big Thanks to Bec & Richard for helping get it on the trailer at the other end.
Getting the cubby on the stumps was pretty uneventful, well it was for me as I was feeding Laura. By the time she had finished, so had they.
Sarah has already set it up and is looking forward to "helping" Daddy paint it. LOL.

Updates on the girls.

Hello

Just thought I'd update you on the progress of our girls...

Sarah Kate is now 4 and had her vaccinations last week. She was a brave girl and only cried a little bit. Of course I bribed her with the promise of a toy if she was brave. She bought herself a Polly Pocket, just the thing I need, lots of little bits. But that's ok, at least they fit in the vacuum cleaner. LOL.

We always weigh and measure Sarah on her birthday so here are her measurements:
Weight: 15kg
Height: 98cm
Yep, she's a skinny little thing. Maybe I should sign her up for gymnastics???

Right, on to Laura Louise....Laura is now 8 weeks and she had her vaccinations this week, she screamed for a little while but soon calmed down.
Her measurements are:
Weight: 5.5kg
Length: 57cm
Head circum: 37cm
She's growing very nicely and will soon be in size OO. I've looked at Sarah's progress notes and Laura is one week ahead of her sister. Not that I'm comparing.......

Well, thanks for reading my blog without pictures. I promise to add some more piccies soon.

Cheers, Kat
